Well, from our side of the fence, a reading can only be as good as the information we receive – if you are a genuine psychic, you cannot simply make things up in an effort to make a reading better than it really is.

From the clients side of the fence, everyone is different and therefore what makes their reading good will differ. For some people, it will be if they can get an answer to a particular question they want answered, for others it maybe if they have contact via the psychic ( medium ) of someone who has passed to the other side.

One thing I have always felt is worth doing, is asking the person I am doing a reading for what they want from the reading. You maybe surprised that about 75% of the time, the answer is that they really don’t know what to expect.

This doesn’t matter to me, as I can only genuinely deliver what comes to me – i just hope the experience is what they wanted, even if they didn’t know it was what they wanted!

At the end of the session, I ask if the session was good for them – if they seem hesitant to answer ( a sign it wasn’t as good as it could have been ) or if they answer in the negative, I take a bit of time to talk through why it wasn’t.

You see, psychic readings are deeply personal – and therefore what people get from them is equally as personal. Before you go to a psychic, spend 10minutes thinking what you would like to get out of it – try and let the psychic know this so they are aware – you may come away feeling a lot more fufilled!

Next Friday and Saturday it will host  an event with “clairvoyant” Amber Garnet, whose talents include tarot, palm reading and tea leaf reading.

Pub owner Alastair Choat said he hoped the event would promote the room, which was inspired by his passion for antiques.

“My wife and I are very into old-fashioned crockery,” he said.  “We visited various tea rooms and there was nothing that was quite what we wanted. They were basically just cafés, although some effort had gone into them, and the hotels that do high tea are hugely expensive. You sit there and it’s all a bit too stiff and scary. We felt we could do something with this room during the afternoon that was totally dedicated to tea.”

There are 16 different types of tea are available, including a variety “only picked on two days of the year at dawn by women”, and all are sourced from a trader in London’s traditional tea district, Bermondsey.

Staff wear clothes from yesteryear and songs by Glenn Miller and Bing Crosby crackle from a record player.

Mr Choat said: “A lot of care and attention is placed on coffee and having these really good baristas who make patterns in the froth, and they’re all in competition.

“People don’t make that sort of effort with tea and yet there is a real art to it.”

Nothing could be further from the truth – online psychic readings can be as accurate as any live reading, after all, before the internet, there were many very good psychic reading phone lines.

In an online psychic reading, the site will normally collect as much information about you as possible – some of it will be theoretical questions – this is to help determine the sort of person you are, and it helps the psychic understand the personality and person they are dealing with.

Some of the other personal information may seem a little too personal, but the more you can give, the better the reading will be.

A good site will also have a section where you can write the questions you want answers too – so for example you may ask if your are due a promotion at work ( for example ).

Armed with all this info, the psychic will do a remote reading, having been fully armed with as much information about you as possible so they feel as if they know you.

Some sites may ask for a photo of you, and some will actually let the psychic call you, or chat with you online.

Post reading, you will normally receive via email, a written copy of your reading, probably in pdf format.

In our years of conducting, and receiving online psychic readings, we have never experienced a lesser accuracy than other methods of psychic readings.
